a refusal [by kaylani]

To be man. To be human.
Ideal conditioned
By contradiction,
By deceit,
By loveless
False charity
Dripping obedience
To the
Emotionless emoticon.
The less than,
            the dehumanized,
Desire
To be man. To be human.
Contort self to conform
To an ideal shaped by myth

Minds conditioned
Conditioned minds = subjective

Our condition is to desire
To be man. To be human.
The men myth is to be
impressions
goals
jobs
points
points
points
rules
secret
In the condition of our desirous minds
Subjects led by the blind
Who blinded us

I carry a backpack full of crushed light bulbs. I heard them smash when I unstrapped my shoulders and dropped pre-though on the cement walk unable to bare any longer the weight Onward with each change in distance between the earth and my feet the shards of shattered reminders shake their purpose

Self sacrifice
Is to give up propriety of self
Is subpossible
To any but One
This body
Makes visible these wounds
Caused,
Self-Inflicted,
Borne,
Object and subject both
A sense now ghosts.
This too shall pass
Negotiations
Navigate
inner-social-public-private-extra-intra
Investigation of the commodified.
I’ll wear you,
Give in.

Can’t feel a thing
Through all the layers
Bite through
Senseless
To be man. To be human.
Used by this emoticon you stuck&pasted to my pressbutton words
This conversation begs for shared vocabulary.
Co-creation amidst
A host of abstraction
Pressing motion inward and onward
Obliterate the tion.

“To be is to be like. To be like is to be like the oppressor.” – Paulo Freire
